Application
Heat-shrinkable or cold-shrinkable materials are used for terminals and intermediate joints of high-voltage cables of 10kV and above. They are wrapped around the junction of the middle fittings and the cutting point of the outer semiconducting layer of the cable to form a certain characteristic impedance at the end of the cable shield to control electrical stress. and the role of insulation in filling gaps.
Instructions for use
Stretch the tape to 1/2 of the original width, overlap 1/2 and then wrap it. The width of the overlapped outer semiconductor layer shall not exceed 5mm.
